Broad Institute and Its Place Among the Top Scientists and Researchers
The Broad Institute holds a special place in the hearts of many scientists and researchers. The Eli and Edythe Broad Institute of MIT, as well as Harvard, began back in the early 2000s. Through an amazingly generous donation from Eli and Edythe Broad, as well as the collaboration of MIT, Harvard, as well as affiliate hospitals, the new institute formation took place.
The goal for the Broad Institute has always been to empower scientists. The Broads donated a total of the north of $500 million when it was all said and done. This new model was a pioneer in the industry, taking a massive step forward to help scientists be in a position to do research they never thought possible. It was all about taking the research in a new direction to ensure that biomedical challenges could get a tackling head-on.
