John Rinn RNA and Tying His Research to Human Health and Disease

John Rinn RNA work is paving the way for a new understanding of the health of humans and how diseases related to the human genome overall. At the University of Colorado Boulder, he pushes forward through his lab, dedicated research into new areas.

He is still one of the first to discover the human genome and the long noncoding RNA genes that exist within it. Now the next step is to push the research forward, to see how these can relate to the health of humans, the impact that these genes have on human diseases. Figuring out where they all fit in functionality, the roles they play will hopefully allow for new advancements down the line in terms of health and safety of humans and all mammals.
