The Sky is the limit for Sky Hanson and NSF Fellowship

Congratulations to Sky Hanson in being awarded the NSF Undergraduate fellowship at CU Boulder. Sky was funded to continue to understand how RNA can influence DNA binding and in turn gene regulation. Sky is working with Dr. Tenaya Vallery towards a study to determine how pervasive RNA-based, DNA localization is in the human genome. Previously Sky published a paper in our lab on the evolutionary differences of how noncoding RNA localizes in the cell -- Impressive, well-deserved and Congrats Sky !!
